RESIST TRUMP
RESIST TRUMP is my first digital illustration in protest of the re-election of Donald Trump in 2024. Im not surprised that American voters still believe in the fallacy of the “Make America Great Again” campaign, a lie that only a prominent conman like Donald Trump uses to continue pushing for policy that continues to enrich the ruling class at the expense of working class people. Trump is a fascist, authoritarian, racist, white supremacist, bigot, misogynist, rapist, ableist, transphobe, and the list goes on. These are attributes that have been linked to his character since way before he became president. I can’t fathom how anyone in their right mind would vote for this devil but again, I’m still not surprised. You better believe his rise was not a mere result of the political tug of war between Democrats vs Republicans . A Donald Trump presidency is the late stage bi product of capitalism & white supremacy upheld by both parties for decades. Joe Biden could not resist continuing to fund a genocide in Gaza and nothing was done to significantly improve the state of our economy since the pandemic. American voters have been fed up and demanding change but we have also been fed a non stop feed of misinformation on the issues in society so we continue to stay dumb and vote against our interests between the evil and the lesser evil. This last election, evil won.
